counting sheep // summer work wear

Here in Miami, summer is in full swing. When it’s not raining, its 93 and sunny by noon. Indoors, air conditioning is cranked up to compensate for the killer heat. Needless to say, dressing for work becomes quite an interesting obstacle! Your best bet? Dress for the heat and bring a sweater along.

Which brings me to another point–when you are shopping for pieces to build your wardrobe, choose pieces with longevity and versatility. I’ve worn this top and skirt various ways now for over a year.

So let’s talk about the sheep, shall we?

I love exploring new areas of South Beach, and I came across the farm figurines at The Surfcomber a few weeks ago after a breakfast meeting. I knew I wanted to head back at some point, with a colorful outfit and photographer in tow. The sheep and cows all have names, which I’m not sure of, but based on a small Google search I’ll go ahead and say this is Remi, the sheep who loves DJs and dancing.

Only in South Beach!

Super pretty colorful chairs! I live in Melbourne about 30 mins from Cocoa Beach! We have colorful walls and chair all over. When I drive down the road I just want to stop and take photos of all the colorful Adirondack chairs!
