Last weekend, I went home for Memorial Day Weekend. It was a busy, busy but amazing time and I am so happy I got to see so many loved ones. The first night involved a columbarium service for my grandparents at church, followed by dinner and a recepetion with family and students of my grandpa’s. Saturday was fun in the sun & another party for my grandparents past students & a night out, Sunday was a FANTASTIC bridal shower brunch that my aunt hosted, followed by a hilarious afternoon/evening in downtown Pensacola. I flew back Monday, got diagnosed with sore throat/pharyngitis Wednesday and have been sick ever since! I’m recovering now, and the weekend was well worth the aftermath. Big thanks to everyone back home who carved out a little time to hang out with me on my visit! You are all food to my soul. Here’s my trip, in Instagram!
