As many of you may know, last week I had the pleasure of flying to New York (thanks to the American Chemistry Council, aka the generous folks who run the Plastics Make it Possible initiative) to participate in a styling event that incorporated clothing made from recycled plastics. No, that does not consist solely of spandex and elastic, although those are two examples. Our pieces to choose from were fantastic items from Tory Burch, alice + olivia, Paige Premium Denim, and Elie Tahari to name a few. The styling was held at Blogger’s Night Out, which is a great event put on by some gal pals of mine to bring bloggers across the nation together during fashion week. Long story short…..I won! In keeping with the styling contest rules, I got to keep my outfit–which was great, because I ended up wearing pieces of it throughout the NYC weekend. Here are some of my Friday night pics, and me with my winning mannequin. I can’t wait for the Plastics team to come to Miami in July for swim week!
On me: dress by L.A.M.B, H&M bag, Forever 21 blazer, Aldo earrings
