coated denim

It’s been a whirlwind holiday season, and living in a place like Miami it’s sometimes easy to forget the month, the season… and so on. We’ve had a few chilly days (I use that word very lightly), and everyone seemed to take advantage of the cooler temps. Of course, I was one of those people. And while yes, it might seem silly to wear a beanie in the low 70s, or OTK boots when it’s practically beach weather, sometimes Miami people want to wear winter clothes too.

For me, that means coated denim and a cozy button down. Few things scream fall more than a pair of coated denim jeans. I love the faux leather look, because aside from being cruelty free, coated denim is much easier to care for than leather. Plus, Miami is just TOO HOT for leather pants. Ask anyone who lives here, even faux leather shorts are pushing your luck. What’s even better, is that the flexibility and comfort of these coated jeans kept me on the go all day long without any fuss. For me, I crave comfort in what I wear, so this is a crucial factor when I am picking out clothing of any kind, but especially shorts and pants.

While the holidays are over, there’s always time to shop around for denim that is affordable and also looks stylish. As we roll into the new year, spending less money is likely a resolution for many of us. With that goal in mind, a pair of cute jeans for under $100 is the perfect gift to give or get for yourself. If you’re looking to go and try some Vigoss on for yourself, you can head to Nordstrom, Dillard’s, and These coated jeans (Made in the USA!) are only one of the many styles you can shop through Vigoss–check them out for yourself, and be sure to follow them on twitter and Instagram @VigossUSA!

I was given this pair of women’s jeans from Vigoss, but my styling and opinion of the jeans are all my own.

Adore the plaid shirt. I’m psycho for it. As for getting the dog into the U.S. — we had to do some shady shit!
