Skirts are one of the most complicated things in the world for me to buy. I have to try them on, because 90% of the ones I try and order online have some funky sizing issue and they end up getting sent back or sitting in the closet wasting space. The few skirts I do have that fit, I want to wear like every single day–which I obviously can not do. Thankfully there is an easy fix! Dresses (these I have by the boat load) can easily do double-duty as a skirt simply by pairing them with a sweater. The need to buy a skirt in xyz color goes out the window if I already have a dress that can work both ways. This simply and easy outfit hack is a great way to transition your dresses into a daytime setting and still looking relatively casual. PLUS, ditch the sweater and you ready for happy hour.
On moi: Sweater from the Limited (last year), dress, Sole Society bag (c/o), Schutz sandals (a total steal for $19!), JewelBeMine pendant (c/o), old sunglasses.

This is such a cute look! I can rarely get it to work on myself — I think I just like a more defined waist than a top over a dress usually allows. But I love it on you!
