Sometimes, there’s nothing like comfort and ease of sweatpants. While most envision sweatpants with slippers and an oversized hoodie, I find there is a way to style them and look chic rather than sleepy.
Today I opted for sweats with zippers because I think they offer a little something extra to the basic knitwear. Paired with wedges and a simple v-neck, I am ready to take on the day–or curl up for a nap! 🙂 And don’t you know I’m still rocking the clutch!
I put a photo on Instagram from my look last night, and although this picture is a little grainy (not the best for taking night photos outdoors, are you iPhone?) I thought I’d share my full outfit with you from Ladies Night at Tap 42:
Are we loving the clutch or should I mix it up some? What do you guys think? I am thinking of naming it at this point since it’s with me everyday!
Top outfit: Torn by Ronny Kobo sweatpants (now only available in gray), American Apparel v neck, Dollhouse bootie (similar at Express), Ann Taylor faux chinchilla clutch
Bottom outfit: Top by Ann Taylor LOFT (old, similar at Ann Taylor now), leather shorts, Nine West d’Orsay pumps, Ann Taylor clutch, vintage necklace.

I couldn’t agree more. As chic and fancy as us bloggers love to dress, a comfy pair of sweats can melt a girl’s heart. You’ve made this usually über casual look still polished which is key!
Loving both looks, you look effortlessly cool! And that clutch is amazing…. you should call her Cynthia. 😉
