Ok, ok so we don’t technically get much of a fall in South Florida. But this morning I must admit, the air was crisp, there was a great breeze, and when\u00a0 I took our dog out for a walk I was a little cold! Granted, I am always cold but outside generally that is not the case. Now it’s warmed up and it in the 80s, but ah, something tells me this year we will get a few more crisp and refreshing days. Que fresca!<\/p>\n

I have to also apologize for disappearing for a few weeks – we’ve had several days of rain, and I went to Colombia for about a week, and it was such a great trip! I love going there and from Miami its an easy 3 hour flight. However, I ate a LOT so this next week needs to be focused on working out and eating light, maybe even doing a juice cleanse. So far I have failed–I haven’t worked out once and I’ve basically been eating ramen noodles! I am such a bad cook when I am just cooking for me. Soup and wine, please and thanks!<\/p>\n

Today I am wearing a perfectly transitional dress from GUESS (from about a year ago, but this Express version is a dead ringer!<\/a>), and a Levi’s denim jacket<\/a>–the ultimate seasonal chameleon. Ankle boots (old, similar here<\/a>) and a great bag<\/a> and I’m out the door. Pop of color courtesy of Italia Independent Eyewear <\/a>(similar red shades here<\/a>). I love a well-made striped dress because it can easily float through your wardrobe–not only from summer to fall but also from day to night. Swap the boots for stilettos and ditch the jacket and its a dress perfect for a Friday night out.<\/p>\n
