Social media is a global phenomenon–and now, so is Social Media Week.<\/p>\n

For one week, speakers from different areas of social media gather to converse with like-minded peers. For now, it only happens in a few major cities around the world: Miami, New York, Sao Paolo, Hong Kong, and Paris to name a few. I was thrilled to be a part of the\u00a0inaugural\u00a0Miami event. I was on a panel with a few lovely ladies (Miss Mean Shoe<\/a>, Viva Fashion<\/a>, and the Fashion Poet<\/a>) speaking all about blogging, fashion in Miami, and other hot topics that Miami fashionistas wanted to pick our brains about. We had a little extra glam added to the panel with our moderator, Maria Arguello who is the Miami editor of Refinery 29<\/a>. It was a great turnout and I had so much fun at my first “speaking engagement,” if you will. Here are some photos I’ve collected over the past few days from the event:<\/p>\n
