It seems insane that swim week was two weeks ago, I feel like a year has passed since the nonstop chaos of MBFW Swim! I’m not complaining though, I thoroughly enjoy swim week. I had such a sweet setup and some amazing brands hook me up throughout the week. First of all, I hit up the FORD Artists beauty lounge for a little pampering and glamming (amazing, and I wouldn’t have to spend the time doing it later either). Here was my look thanks to the glam squad there:
After there the next stop was checking in to the Townhouse Hotel (my fave little home away from home) and having it as home base for swim week was too perfect. I was right in the middle of everything I wanted to do, and a five minute walk to everywhere else.
I totally love the Florida room which is attached to the lobby of the hotel. Just a relaxing place to enjoy a cup of coffee or chat with friends. Upon checkin, I had some lovely gifts waiting!
Voli Vodka definitely kept me going, and it was actually my first time drinking it. I was pleasantly surprised. And will definitely make it a staple at our home bar! After a quick change of clothes and meeting up with two girlfriends, we were off to the Vogue Brazil issue party at 1 Hotel & Homes, located conveniently on Collins.
After a few caipirinhas and champagne, it was off to the next spot for the evening. It was a toss up, but we ended up tracking down some friends at the MBFW Swim kickoff party down at the Raleigh. It was outdoors, so we didn’t last long.
As the evening came to end, it became scarily apparent that lite bites throughout the evening were not enough. This meant serious late night eats were upon us…
thank heaven for Pizza Bar. FYI, if you’re visiting South Beach, Pizza Bar is open until 5am…so there’s that.
more recaps to come soon xx
