black, pink & designer look-a-likes

It already seems like it’s been a crazy week, am I right? With the time change, things to get done at work, domestic duties and a few events I am juggling this week, the days are certainly flying by. Being on the go means I’ve gotta have functional and comfortable clothing. Here in South Florida, you can’t really be comfortable if you’re hot– in fact nothing can stop me in my tracks quicker than getting overwhelmed by the heat. For this reason, I wear a lot of sheer (and/or sleeveless) blouses, skirts, and sandals. And with a busy week and busy day like today, I didn’t think twice as I got dressed this morning.

I’ve been lusting over the Isabel Marant Carol studded sandals for some time now, and with a price point over $1000, they were nothing more than a footwear dream. Thankfully, a more realistic price-point pair waltzed into my life via a care package yesterday from Charlotte Russe. While they aren’t decked in crystals and the leather is vegan (save the animals!), they are the look I wanted and at a fraction of the price. I couldn’t wait to wear them.

LOVE this outfit and the shoes are fabulous. I love finding designer dupes. I may have to get these sandals. And that color skirt is so pretty

I love that skirt! Very cute–lovely color.

This post has me (a chicago girl) feeling very jealous of your weather!

I love that you found a cheaper alternative to a hot shoe. Yay!
