girl in the green jacket

Few things can brighten your look  faster than a Kelly green blazer. Worn over simple separates like this gauzy top and classic/slightly distressed pair of jeans, a bright blazer takes even your most casual looks to the next level. Though I’m generally more of a cardigan girl, a blazer that’s cut just right really can sharpen your whole look. And even though it’s warmed up down here in South Florida, it’s still a little chilly at night and in the shade, so a blazer is totally weather appropriate. Not to mention green (emerald specifically, which to me is more like turquoise but whatever) is THE color for 2013, so I think green anything is pretty much on trend.

And then there’s these leopard booties, which have quickly become one of my most frequented pair of shoes. Saying they were a best-investment of January is an understatement. Hope everyone is off to a fantastic month of MARCH!
