sunshine state of mind

Even though it’s beyond gloomy today, I can’t help but have a sunny outlook as I look toward the exciting events this week for MBFW Swim. This is like the calm before the storm, literally and figuratively. Has anyone checked the forecast for the week? Please let’s have no storms like last night’s flooding.

Ok, onto the outfit! I got this fab sheer top from my lovely friends over at PrettyODD, and I love its flowy, wanderlust look tamed by my favorite cropped and professional trousers. I think it would also be so cute to pair with a pencil skirt & tie up the bow, for all your corporate gals out there. I’m still obsessing over this Made in Rwanda bag–plus it’s so versatile it can double as a cloth grocery bag. I had on flats but I felt too much like a zenned-out yoga mom, so wedges were the natural switch.

Fashion Weeks always bring out my uber-organizational side. I’ve got an Excel spreadsheet for where to be when, somebody stop me!

On moi: Top, Pretty.ODD(c/o) (also available in lilac and blue), Ann Taylor cropped blue pants, Charles David wedges, Rwanda bag, Stephan & Co necklace(old), Gucci sunnies.
