Social media is a global phenomenon–and now, so is Social Media Week.
For one week, speakers from different areas of social media gather to converse with like-minded peers. For now, it only happens in a few major cities around the world: Miami, New York, Sao Paolo, Hong Kong, and Paris to name a few. I was thrilled to be a part of the inaugural Miami event. I was on a panel with a few lovely ladies (Miss Mean Shoe, Viva Fashion, and the Fashion Poet) speaking all about blogging, fashion in Miami, and other hot topics that Miami fashionistas wanted to pick our brains about. We had a little extra glam added to the panel with our moderator, Maria Arguello who is the Miami editor of Refinery 29. It was a great turnout and I had so much fun at my first “speaking engagement,” if you will. Here are some photos I’ve collected over the past few days from the event:
Thanks to NuGlo marketing for putting together our panel. I had so much fun meeting more of the Miami fashion community!
